How do I play?

Choose your own intimate adventure! There are standard card ‘rules’ for Game Play, included in card deck, where two players go back and forth drawing cards. Asking questions and sharing card prompts, replying with option to play or counter.

However, you can switch it up! Play in a group, use the cards as questions on dates, or come up with questions, interesting stories, or games to play before date.

Here are some of our favorite ways to be involved in playing:

  • One on one online: If playing with a partner virtually, we suggest the Emotional deck, however you can play through other categories and skip over cards where partner contact is necessary. Same rules apply.

  • One on one in person: The person baring the most skin first begins, as card pursuer. Deal out three counter cards per person. Card pursuer shuffles deck, and reads card prompt out loud to card permissor. If card is a question, they are asking partner, if card is a statement they are playing along and sharing themselves. Card pursuer or card permissor have option to use counter card, if card prompt isn’t favorable. From there, creating their own prompt or question from same card category. Emotional: sharing and inquiring / Play : physical and mental games / Intimacy: energy without touch / Connection: physical touch.

  • Group play: Same as one on one, however, distribute counter cards among group. Pass deck around, so each person has a chance to be card pursuer and card permissor. Card pursuer, choose before you draw, choose who you’d like the card permissor to be.

  • Solo play: For a confidence boost, playfulness, and insight, pick a card before a meet up and insert prompt or question into your conversation.
